Although the quality is not worth a spit, just the plastic is a good
lure for some, but I would stay away from things that come in a pretty
package....they are all the same.
What are the chances of getting new rollers for the unit, or is the
CVT a bit stranger than most......although there are tons of Chinese stuffs,
and other "Prototypes" being sold, they all come in a pretty package, just
like Henry Ford "Paint then Black and sell them Fast".....
It is quite nice for a gone for a song scooter, but do you know the
real reason it went for such a low price, and why it was being sold on
eBay....the reason. is quality and continuing use of parts, but then again
it looks and seems to run good....maybe you got lucky on this one.
Some Chinese junk is OK, but just OK, and most is trash, and unless
you know the Chinese market and speak/write Chinese, it's real hard to get a
good deal, which proly what the eBay marketing Seller was...which helps a
bit.....

All I know is that it is running nicely, it gets over 85 mpg, and my
experience has been that my Chinese scooter cost less to operate than
any other two-wheel vehicles I've owned.
All I posted is just my experience, I can't say for others, maybe I'm
the exception out of how many millions of scooters that come out of
China.. Maybe I'm the exception that I actually take good care of my
machines, maybe I'm the exception that I don't abuse my rides.
BTW, replacement clutch for my scooter cost $40, variator cost $35,
new roller units $25, to replace all of them would take me less than
two hours in my garage.. and I do speak/write Chinese.. but I havn't
had need to do any of the above to keep my scooter running nicely for
the past 4200 miles in six month.

Do not buy a MZ scooter. They are good scooters but MZ no longer has a
presence in the United States. They left in 2005 due to EPA caberator
requirements.
My Daughter has one and I've been having to search all over the country for
parts when something breaks down on it.

I'll go with that rather than loveboat, gogogadget, cat0020,
etc......., just posting personas, all headers are the same, which I can
change, but there is no real need is there...
Now if he posted with different NNTPs like
NIN/Teranews/solani/free-sonic and readers like Agents' or Xnews as well as
Gmail and others, I would think there is a real interesting conspiracy....
I use aliases/personas too, but I don't pretend to be some other
person, and fortify my status, or contradict myself.
