My wife has decided to part with her '85 FXEF Superglide Fatbob. Many of
you have heard and seen this bike.
Anybody interested, email me for further details.
No, she's not getting out of riding, just moving on to the '87 FLT.
Shirley, tap that keg of SNPA for the boys at the bar.

Thanks for the brew. Yup, I have seen and heard that bike, and it
sounds and looks great. Sorry I don't have a need for another steed at
the moment.

After 4 cold days and nights at War Eagle earlier this month, Lynn has
decided we need a travel trailer to camp in occasionally. Since our tow
vehicle will be a '61 F-100, we're looking and late '50's-early '60's
vintage small trailers. Ought to be pretty cool. Already have the second
FLT, so she won't be bikeless, either.
lookin to build a teardrop myself.
Plenty of online plans for them too
kickstart
Yeah, we looked at those too, but have found a pretty good 13' Scotty for a
good price. The sheet metal is all good, the floor is sound and all it
really needs is a bit of TLC and some paint.

Tom Koehler, I think, built a really nice one. I've got the page
bookmarked, but of course I can't find it now. Might be bookmarked on my
macbook, not the pc. Google should turn it up.
Rosie, I remember cause he tows it with a Vibe!

That's shocking. The last comments I heard from her comcerning
the FLT were something to the effect that it was the "fugliest bike
in the world".

Actually, Fred's right. That's exactly what she said, but it was more aimed
at the paint job than the actual style of the bike. It's a real ugly root
beer brown metallic that's faded to a sort of goldish metalflake in spots
and peeled in other spots so that you can see the *really* ugly green
metallic it used to be.
I'm a Slug and I don't make plans, but I see this bike as black by next
summer. She's talking like she wants me to do the pearl accents like I did
on my FLT, but I'm thinking of changing the color of the pearl.
Pink ? As a contrast to your blue ... Boy/girl colors !

I talked to the guy at the paint store and I apparently have about a
thousand choices. She's kinda lobbying for just using the blue again.
Points out that her last name is Crow also.
Just as long as it comes out looking as good as Miss Pearl.
Nope, not a nice, muted, sluggly green. More of a '74 Honda lettuce green
metalflake.

My trouble is I hate to sand. That, and this bike has 12 parts to paint,
not just 4.
