Our hydroplane (the U-7) won the final race in Doha
Qatar on Saturday morning.

Check out heat 4A. About 2 minutes in to the clip,
Oberto does a complete 360 flip and lands right side
up. It made its way back to the pits under it's own
power and races in a later heat.

Not quite but the engine powers something that
does have that potato potato sound...

I love when they come to Detroit.
A friend of mine is a crane operator and we get right down where the cranes
are and watch all of the action.
I have some awesome pictures from the last 3 years.

We didn't do so well in Detroit this year. We placed 4th
in the final race (out of 5 boats) but we did place 4th
in accumulated points, out of 11 boats.

Tell us a bit about the experience of setting up and racing in Qatar.
I can imagine this was just a little bit different from the usual
sites in NA.
