commercially available.. looks like a ultimate way to catalogue your
rides.. what i would give for a cam of my rides in maui... i am gonna

I've got the GoPro Hero Wide. With the firmware upgrade you can record
up to 1hr 52 min on a card. Continuous video or stills at two
different rates, every 1 sec or every 5 sec plus singles or timed vids
at various fixed rates in seconds. Mine was $199.95.
They also have an HD version for $299.95 which used up to 32GB cards.
All the necessary mounts come with it for helmet mount, etc.
Waterproof, to a point, housing is provided. Doesn't do well in the
rain with raindrops on the lens though.
