I opened up a couple of old motorcycle parts boxes today.  Its pretty much all junk unless it just happens to be what you need.  I'll make my offer that I always do.  Any RMH member who finds something I am selling they want and buys it can ask me to donate 10% to EKIII.  Just put a note in the Paypal comments or send me a message via Ebay.

I also found a PNWBS patch I'm going to try and put on the EKIII auction site.  Just send the money to EKIII and when I get a message that its arrived I'll send you your patch.

There!  Got it listed under art.  I see I have a feedback of Zero on the EK III auction site.  LOL.  I guess I better put some more stuff on there in the future.

Speaking of old stuff.  I just discovered today that my old motorcycle games site on Geocities went bye bye this year.  I'll have to see if any of the cache sites have it still so I can save a copy.

Wow, its like dead on Ebay for personal sellers.  I would have figured with the weak economy it would be the other way around with folks selling stuff, and people looking for deals.  On all that stuff I listed last week less than half of it even has a bid, and opening bid on all of it is just 1 dollar.  I suppose the ridiculous final value fees have scared off some sellers.  By the time you pay listing, final value, and PayPal fees its close to eleven percent it costs you to sell on Ebay.  I listed a lot of odds and ends, but some things with real value too.  Oh, well.  Time to rent a table at the local swap meet.  I'm glad I didn't take the time to list the rest of it.  Five times more stuff sitting out on my sorting tables as I listed.  Custom brakes, fork lowers, seats,  Why bother.  I was just going to give the money to the kids to go Christmas shopping. I think Ebay is about dead as a personal selling media.  A new alternative is ripe to step into the market.

Oh, well some folks will get a real deal.  I hope they are people who need a deal.

I think its being supplanted by Craigslist. I prefer local CL because
its quick, face-to-face, and you can see the product before you buy. It
doesn't have the coverage of eBay but its free and you can relist stuff
as often as you like.

We just sold some stuff on ebay.
It ended up going way too cheaply.
People may not be listing because people aren't buying.
The only thing that did well was a scale model.

A lot of stuff went for the opening bid and a lot of other stuff didn't
go at all.

Swap meets seem to be the same way...No one's buyin. Not a lot of
good deals to be found, like it used to be.
I noticed the same thing with my amateur radio swap meets.

Has the EKIII Trust gone through the work to get Paypal to recognize them as
