Two hours from now, I'll be the happy owner of the 209 acre southern
NH riding mecca, "Jayrassic Park East, Fortress of Solitude".

As an added benefit, it's less than 10 minutes from Southern NH's
premiere state-owned dirtbike riding park. 'Course, I'd have to
register to ride that...

You could have some fun with 209 acres.
Well done.

Usually, when it's a fortress of solitude, I wait for the signal of
two asses.
Or was that one big ass?

I'll say! Dang...

I want 209 acres, too.

Congrats, Jay!

Well, went up to JPE today - trash guy is still clearing away the last
of the rubble from the barn - should be out for good mid-week. Better
than a half dozen 30-yard dumpsters got hauled out. He did some
amount of rough grading with a Bobcat while cleaning up, and it looks
much better, but I still have a lot of tractoring work to do before
winter to make sure I don't kill my bitty Snapper on the first day.
I'm shopping for a small bulldozer for cheap, in case anybody wants to
make a donation - I really need one of those. Trudged out to the
swamp, which turns out to be a fairly nice-looking beaver pond.
Typical democrats, those beavers. Set up a "green" 6 foot diameter
homestead for two of them, and completely destroy 7.5 acres in the
process - but it's OK, because there weren't any dirtbikes making 4"
wide ruts involved. Beaver dam vs. backhoe....I'm taking bets. OTOH,
the woods look good - I can still follow where some of the skidder
trails went through 25 years ago - it shouldn't take much to get a
decent trail network established. RMDers always welcome,
incidentally. Also in the market for a good chainsaw or two...or
five. House needs some work - all in all more-or-less OK and mostly
cosmetic (depending on your personal degree of anal-retentiveness).
Well needs some attention - I think the pressure tank is waterlogged
'cause the jet pump was going ballistic - silly things, those jet
pumps. I don't know where I'll get the time though - these fixer-
uppers are absolutely killing me. If I could only get rid of this
infernal f'n "job" thing that keeps sucking up all of my free time,
I'd be doing great.

I'm game for bringing up my saw, tools and bike some time. Howl at the
moon and such. Have a little trail-building fest or fix-up fest.

I have a small box of assorted ammo that needs a good home. Much of it
is just primers for roll-your-own types, but there's some shotgun
shells and a box of "sluggers" which look pretty evil. And a box of .
22 lookin' stuff. And some assorted this'n that bullets.

Beavers are cool.
Good eating ;-)

Relating a story about her fallover while she and I were trail
riding, Deb told my riding buddy that she was okay, 'cause she fell on
her ass.
I, on the other hand, go sort of bruised, and stayed sore for a
while. :-)

Has the President of NH effectively managed to shift blame when I
wasn't looking somehow?
