Krylon is pretty flexible. I used to use it to put a fade on vinyl sign graphics, let it dry, then lift and stick the graphics. It could take that much abuse anyway. FWIW.

My thought would be to just buy black plastic. I think UFO has good selection.

my experience with painting plastic on dirt bikes is horrible... because of the abuse they get from book straps, gas, oil, tree limps, rocks, stuff!!! it is usually better to get the new plastic...
then you get into a problem where your bike is so old you cant get plastic for it... what to do? New bike??
