I took a drawing class last summer. The teacher said that Aqua Net hair
spray was as good or better than the commercial fixatives. In either case,
I don't think you want to use it on a model. Try on some junk kit first.
Most people just leave it raw and fix the model to a base.

Dark colors seem to work OK. Smoke streaks and the likes don't seem to
vanish.
Lately I've just taken to leaving the chalk on the plane and not spraying
it. Just be sure to handle it carefully.
If anyone has a good way to 'fix' light color chalk please let me know.

LOL!!! I guess I shouldn't knock a fellow modeling disciple trying to find
his way about the hobby, but I couldn't resist the lack of shear common
sense that someone would even consider hair spray, which IMHO is FUTURE with
an sticky attitude.
