They're actual cast brass - from G-Factor. I think I got them from Roll
Models. Got a set for my GATO, too. That's the way they come right out
of the bag.
They're cast from the kit parts so tey need a bit of filing and
dressing...then I'm gonna boil them with some egg shell to put some
patina on them.
I need to go shopping for some brass rod - gonna replace the prop shafts
and railings with brass scratchbuilt.

That's a good idea - we used to use liver of sulfur to oxidize bronze
and silver back in my metalsmithing days - if I had access to the
equipment I'd have just cast a set of real bronze ones from the kit
parts myself.
The other props I got for the GATO are really nice - bigger, and more
impressive.

Does anyone have any clue to why I can't see the new pictures?
I saw the older ones, but the new ones are just not there when I look :-(

Refresh the group? You are looking in alt.binaries.models.scale right?

I am looking at alt.binaries.models.scale.
Have tried to reset the local file and refresh group.
Actually I have tor refresh every time I start my O(utlook)E(xpress) since
I'm using an IP adr wich adds the group to my OE.
The IP is this:
202.177.16.121
When I write that IP on the adr. line in my IE the group pops up in my OE.
I have no idea of how it works :-)
But every time I close my OE I have to 'reload' the group.
