Hi Everyone!
When I was in Europe I bought these 4mm gold plugs to replace my standard
ones. They had 2 kinds, one had a seperate female and male, an the other
one had them in one piece and I was told to cut them at the provided line
to get a male and a female. But when did cut them in half there was not
hole for the cable as I expected. Solderind the cable to the flush metal
surface just doesn't seem the right thing to be!
What now?
Please help
Rainer

Break out the drill, I guess!
Just curious - are these for your drive batteries in a fast electric boat?
If so, why go so far as 4mm gold banana plugs?
I have yet to see a FE boat that needed more than Sermos-type connectors.
Biggest drawback to banana-type plugs - easy to short against each other.
Need to be careful and always cover, say, the positive side.
