Painting a Water Tank

Hi All,

I am getting ready to build the American Model Builders water tank and
need some thoughts and ideas for painting the tank itself.
I know that the model is one of a Missouri Pacific prototype, but it will
be used on an eastern coal hauling railroad. So....suggestions for what color
the tank wuld have been painted. What would the Reading, Pennsy, CNJ, LV,
L&NE, N&W or others have used for a color.
