Well, it's the 17th now and I'm still getting Usenet through my SBC
Global connection. Wonder if/when this is going to disappear?

My ISP, a midwest regional, recently canceled usenet service as well.
I'm not really satisfied reading newgroups via the web, but don't know
if I really want to pay for a subscription. Sigh.

Sign up for a download-based plan with someone. I've been using Astraweb
for the last couple years with no trouble. I think it was $25 for 60GB
download, no time limit.

Send your ISP the bill.
