Barack says we need to have a conversation about race in
America . Fair enough. But this time, it has to be a two-way conversation.
White America needs to be heard from, not just lectured to... This time,
the Silent Majority needs to have its convictions, grievances and demands
heard.. And among them are these:
First, America has been the best country on earth for black
folks. It was here that 600,000 black people, brought from Africa in slave
ships, grew into a community of 40 million, were introduced to Christian
salvation, and reached the greatest levels of freedom and prosperity blacks
have ever known. Wright ought to go down on his knees and thank God he is
an American.
Second, no people anywhere has done more to lift up blacks than
white Americans. Untold trillions have been spent since the ' 60s on
welfare, food stamps, rent supplements, Section 8 housing, Pell grants,
student loans, legal services, Medicaid, Earned Income Tax Credits and
poverty programs designed to bring the African-American community into the
mainstream.. Governments, businesses and colleges have engaged in
discrimination against white folks -- with affirmative action, contract
set-asides and quotas -- to advance black applicants over white
applicants.. Churches, foundations, civic groups, schools and individuals
all over America have donated their time and money to support soup
kitchens, adult education, day care, retirement and nursing homes for
blacks.
We hear the grievances. Where is the gratitude???
Barack talks about new 'ladders of opportunity' for blacks. Let
him go to Altoona ? And Johnstown , and ask the white kids in Catholic
schools how many were visited lately by Ivy League recruiters handing out
scholarships for 'deserving' white kids.? Is white America really
responsible for the fact that the crime and incarceration rates for
African-Americans are seven times those of white America ? Is it really
white America 's fault that illegitimacy in the African-American community
has hit 70 percent and the black dropout rate from high schools in some
cities has reached 50 percent?
Is that the fault of white America or, first and foremost, a
failure of the black community itself?
As for racism, its ugliest manifestation is in interracial
crime, and especially interracial crimes of violence. Is Barack Obama aware
that while white criminals choose black victims 3 percent of the time, black
criminals choose white victims 45 percent of the time?
Is Barack aware that black-on-white rapes are 100 times more
common than the reverse, that black-on-white robberies were 139 times as
common in the first three years of this decade as the reverse?
We have all heard ad nauseam from the Rev. Al about Tawana
Brawley, the Duke rape case and Jena . And all turned out to be hoaxes.. But
about the epidemic of black assaults on whites that are real, we hear
nothing.
Sorry, Barack, some of us have heard it all before, about 40
years and 40 trillion tax dollars ago..

Well, nowadays there are a lot more people and these incidents happen
on a much more frequent basis. I would accept what you are saying, but
when does it end? The kids in the video are not thinking about what
someone did to a grandpa or grandma they don't know. They're just
beating the shit out of some kid. So bringing up the irish seems more
like an excuse you are making for their behavior than anything else.

Anyways, this is starting to occur more frequently in the media.. lone

question to you is that once they have beat and killed, say, ten times
the number of people the irish beat and killed, will they all suddenly
stop, or will it suddenly become reprehensable to you and/or they grow
a conscience and stop?
I ask you, when will they say "It is enough. The Irish have been

There is a LINE. This line starts at Day 1, Kindergarten.
If you have not crossed this line before, you are exempt. However, if
you have entered school after the "new policy" has been signed into
law, you are not exempt.
What is the new policy?
Quite simple. You don't do something right, you get yelled at, and
loud. In kindergarten.
You screw up in grade 2, 3, 4, you get the BELT.
5, 6, 7, you get caned. Hell, cane em all the way into high school.
Seniors? If they make it that far, suspension or "permanent records"
will scare the shit out of them.
Heck, it works here.
You seem there are simply no student on student beatings or killings
in Chinese schools. Now, you may say, it's because it's a different
race or culture.. Well, if you don't believe in racial profiling, then
do what I said. If you think it's about race, then it can't be helped.
You will make your own decision, but consider what I said.
This whole "self-esteem" shit is what ruined schools and allowed the
beatings and stuff to get kicked into high gear.
And actually it's starting here too. Some schools have really scaled
back on hitting students. If they only knew what they were getting
into. You will see, in 10 or 20 years, violence will kick up seriously
here in China. You'll read it on the news and you will think of what I
said.

Well of course! I still cannot get my head around why jews would have
built a gigantic "civil rights" machine to give us THIS. WTF is the
PURPOSE behind this??? And it wasn't just the NAACP or SPLC (which
unlike the former is still headed by a jew), it was the blizzard of
movies in the 60s and 70s like Coming to Dinner and Heat of the Night,
an all-out propaganda campaign to MISrepresent typical people of
color. Now we've graduated into the Morgan Freeman archetype and all

My point in this post was to illustrate that a smart kid, an honor
roll student, was murdered by teeming savages whose behavior resembled
that of chimpanzees or a troop of orangutans.
Were I a racist, I would have said, oh well, one less nigger, and not

violence with mfers climbing over cars and shit. The problem is that
the city schools and society places the intelligent of any race
largely at the mercy of these savages.
The same is true in small towns in rural white areas, where you have
the children of idiots, beer drinkers, tobacco chewing rednecks,
tormenting the intelligent. If we as a society are to ever get
anywhere we must stop trying to legislate the useless into equality

Actually no. It did not take years to turn one school around. It was
recently on TV. It went from public school to charter school. All of a
sudden, the kids realized that they would be kicked out if they did not
behave. The scores shot up. The kids buckled down. Same teachers, same
place, same students. The teachers suddenly had a lot more authority than a
public school teacher does. Politics was removed. You signed a contract with
the school as to what was expected. It was simple, the adults were back in
charge. Just another "Lord of the Flies" type situation.
Anyone watch " Coach Carter" or " Lean on Me?"
And no this is not an indictment of public school teachers. It is an
indictment of a system that has somehow gotten rotten.

Today before my English Class, the students were to be punished. The
reasoning was that their test scores were significantly behind the
scores of the other classes in their year.
The punishment was thusly; Each student was to receive twenty two
canes to the hand; they may switch hands at will. I watched the
punishment. There were 46 students in the class. It took a long time,
but eventually all 1,012 strikes were administered. It actually took
up 15 minutes into my class.
After this, many of the students wept uncontrollably in the class -
especially the girls. It was so heartbreaking that I went to buy
several frozen bottles of water, but even at this some of the students
refused to apply them. Due to the number of other students begging me
for the bottles, which were only about 20 cents each, I only let the
girls who were crying hold the bottles. Later on, when they didn't
want them anymore, I gave the bottles to some of the boys, some of
which had been hit so severely there were bruises on the centers of
their palms which looked quite serious (I have experience with special
muscle and tendon injury and it was not a normal bruise - it was
probably the result of a reversed bloodflow or pulsed blood flow). At
any rate, it was heartbreaking as you may imagine.
Of course, it was their homeroom teacher who administered the
punishment. He was calm and pretty much smiled throughout. The
students lined up and took it. They almost held their hands out
willingly. He hit quite hard. Try hitting your own hand - go ahead. He
was twice as hard as that, occasionally spiking it up to 3 times as
hard. From my knowledge of martial arts I felt he may almost have
broken one student's hand - I even heard a "bone harmonic" on one of
the hits (dont know how else to explain it, but I heard the stick hit
bone through his flesh). Anwyays.
After class, I gave away several of the bottles to the students. They
were only 40 cents each, but I guess most of the students were too
poor to afford their own bottles. This is China, you know. It isn't
like the west.
What does it mean to teach?

Your comment belies how much of a loser you are, what poor
communication and ideals you hold. Taking just myself as an example -
I teach 35 or more different classes in a week - If one of my classes
was below average, which would obviously happen since some classes
would be - why should I be beaten? Do I get beating credits for all my
advanced classes to get out of beating? Can I choose not to teach
stupid kids?
If you were smart, or maybe if you were a little more humble instead
of being such a dickwad, you could easily figure it out. Yet so far
all you've shown is that you just don't get it, and are just talking
about stuff you don't understand. You are apparently not aware that
this is part of the system, that the stupid kids are funneled into the
same class, and the smart kids percolate up. That's how they organize
things here. In the lower levels no one has a notebook and 20 to 30%
of the students won't even bring their textbook to class. If you ask
them why they don't have a notebook they will say they don't have the
dollar it takes to buy one. As they sip their tea or coke in class.
And of course, there's so much talking and fighting, you simply can't
get through the material. No one cares about those kids, Herb, do you
understand? No, of course not, because you *just don't get it*. And
you, in your infinite idiocy, have blamed the messenger.
On the other hand, the normal and advanced classes I teach are a lot
better. Especially, of course, the classes that have had all the smart
and well-behaved kids funneled into them. Everyone writes stuff down
without being asked, everyone always does their homework, there's
basically no talking, and we always have a lot of fun. And all of the
students are very successful.
Oh, and no beatings. Were you aware of that Herbie? That there are
good classes too? Or did you automatically assume, in your ignorance,
the premise of your question was true?

Some years ago, I was reading the book " Makes Me Want to Holler" which is
about black crime and written by a black journalist, who was once a
criminal. He was not neglected, was not poor, and did not come from a broken
family. ( You might note I heard him on a talk show; and when he asked what
the solution was he said he did not know). A number of black ladies, at the
place where I was working, were also reading the book. I got to know most of
them. I asked one of the ladies that I frequently discussed matters with why
all the black ladies were reading that book. She replied, " We dont know why
these young black men are killing each other either." They were searching
for answers just as I was. I cannot tell you why the black crime rate is so
high here. It is though. I suspect the culture has a lot to do with it. You
may recall that even Jessie Jackson said, " We have lost more of our own to
the BBB than to the KKK." The BBB is the bad black brother. He also said he
was relieved when he heard footsteps behind him late at night and it turned
out to be a white person.
The black community has a problem. Excuses need to quit being made and
apologys stopped. The best thing that happened here some years ago was the
formation of the group " 100 Black men against violence."

I simply want to do what the principal did in "Lean on Me." He threw 300
trouble makers and drug pushers out of his school so the other 1500 kids
could get back to learning, which is what they wanted to do. Then he jumped
the teachers and put them back to work teaching. Teachers union or no.
