WTF with men wearing so much makeup on TV. I can understand that 80 years
ago when cameras were not so good actors needed makeup but nowadays that is
not needed. Look at the regular men on the street interviewed on the news.

What really got me was I was watching "The Sports Reporters" the other day
and Bob Ryan was wearing more makeup than a geisha and on "Real Sports" on
HBO (the story about Marcus Dixon, a black teenager sent to prison for
having sex with his 16 year old girlfriend) the prosecutor McClellan was
wearing purple lipstick.

Now McClellan I can understand. He is probably not used to be on TV and HBO
may have even been trying to make him look silly but Ryan is on TV every
week and he looked rediculous.

I can ALMOST understand men on TV wearing makeup to cover blemishes,
wrinkles, etc but I should not have to SEE the makeup.

You notice some unusual things, I never noticed.

apparantly, the camera cannot properly photograph eyes without eye liner,
that's what I heard.
