I gave up on SAK when good multitools came out. I prefer to have
a good knife and a good multitool, although if I had to carry just
one, the Gerber Wave makes an acceptable knife.

I carry an original SwissTool. It bests suits my needs and personal
tastes. I also carry a Junkyard Dog II.

I sometimes carry a swiss tool with a lot of tools both because they can
come in handy and you have to be pretty stupid to confuse carrying one with
going armed not that it couldn't happen.

What I like is a single bladed knife like a case sodbuster Jr. or my flat
all metal kershaw. There is no doubt the kershaw is more robust and flater
but the sodbuster is handier and works well for the light tasks I use it
for.

This is the best Swiss Army Knife. I have one, well my brother does, I gave
it to him as a present.

Now you need the rifle that goes with it. I tend to carry one with pliers
and sissors as well as the usual. I do have one of the larger ones but they
are kind of pocket filling if you get my drift and kind of hard to use as a
knife.
