does... FAIL! Download this movie to see him miscatch, make wild grabs, hurt

see what it looks like when someone drops 6 clubs while trying scissor
catches? Ever wanted to see what a single backcross from 3 clubs looks like
when it goes bad? Ever wanted to see what that really easy trick that you
can do perfectly every time looks like when flung wildly?
Check out the videos now for fun droppage footage!
Enjoy!

There goes the point... right over Jeffs head...

HTH.
Tony.
Now we have Cake ripping off Garfield ripping off Spiderman.
Oh, and I've heard that this drop montage has already
damaged Luke's burgeoning professional career. From
now on all his public performances will be done in
private.
You all know what that other drop montage did to that
other American juggling legend, who used to be
considered great and now has to find work at children's
parties dressed as a clown.

Apparently so. I guess I've just never understood the concept. I've
watched BMX and skateboarding videos, both of which will frequently have
collections of some nasty falls at the end. That's the part I can't see
any point in watching. Seeing someone pull off a tough trick is great.
Seeing someone come very close to getting a really hard trick is ok too.
But seeing failure after failure just isn't something I've ever been
interesting in watching.
Now, as to making fun of Mr. Burrage for the videos he's put together,
well, that's not what I'm complaining about.
You, Film 1999... What's with all this "Mr." buisness? Oh no you don't,
there'll be no "Mr." and "Burrage" in the same sentence. Not in here there
won't, I'll not be having it - you hear..
No "Mr."
No "Porrage"
No "Juggling"
And none of the other stuff either - none of it.
You'll have your cake and you'll eat it. Now you, Barry Norman, splishy
sploshy. C'mon, C'MON - hurry up, I have a hangover..
Yours Sincerely,
Bernard Black.
I must appologise, don't listen to me. I'm useless, I've been up all night
with my present - a copy of Black Books and a bottle of wine.
Yours Sincerely,
Ewano - eating scrambled egg, from a shoe, with a comb..
c'mon now lets keep this thread realistic. That's gonna be somewhat
against the flow of the tide (insert suitable Canute reference here)
If correct then it is something I gotta see.
Nao :-)
Luke most certainly is "a British juggling legend" - look it says so here:

As for Tony, he is just a pseudonym and as such is incapable of being "a
British juggling legend". Hope that has straightened things out.

Of course, the more positive of us don't call drops 'failure' - we call
them
'progression' or 'learning experiences'. It is an honor to see learning
experiences from a British Juggling Legend (BJL).

You've never understood the concept of "parody"?
I fear your school system has failed you somewhat.

Ahhh. Be sure to never watch luke perform at a one day convention then.
Especially if he's not been sleeping well...
-Paul
i wonder how much fun could be had by keeping him awake for two days before
BJC.

I think I've met Tony once, he was wearing white lycra, looked a bit
like Elvis and kept hitting his head on the ceiling.....
Charlie
Drops may be part of progression in skill, but they most certainly are not
the entire progression towards learning a trick. And for them to be seen
as a proper progression, it would be necessary to see some progress
between one and the next.

I think the only way to resolve this is for each juggler to have a
personal videographer who records their every move, then we'll truly
be able to see the progression you mention.
Oh hang on, didn't someone do this a few years ago?
Charlie
If anyone has a copy of the new edition Encyclopaedia of Ball Juggling by
Charlie Dancey look at the entry for "Charlie's Cheat". So it is official,
right?

Thank you, Tony, for your video of me dropping lots. The trailers was
fantastic and had me giggling like a giggling thing. The full version,
once I downloaded it, was very tedious and I didn't quite make it to the
end.
Catch you later,
Luke Burrage
No problem. It didn't require much editing!

Glad you enjoyed it - that took considerably more work.

Unfortunately your audience didn't have that luxury - spare them a thought
next time!
> Catch you later,
Based on the evidence, that seems highly unlikely (sorry, couldn't resist
that one).
See you in Derby.
