Kick ups destroy balls?

Hello guys

My 1.5 years old peach skin 130g mister babache started to wear out a few
months ago, and it only goes faster and faster.
What is happening, is that the peach skin is going away, and it makes
place for some very smooth thin net-like thing.

Anyway, I was wondering: could it be that the balls are hurt by kick ups?
I have lately been doing a lot of kick ups with shoes on, instead of bare
feet, so when I roll them on my feet they make friction with the skin of
the balls.

I am planning to buy some SportCos, would it be smart to not roll them on
that way to much, or do you believe it does not matter much?

And than another small question: I read sportcos are not very durable. I
am planning to throw 7 balls max in the next years, should I buy 9 so that
it doesn't matter to much when one dies?

I just bought a new set of sportco's. The previous set was bought exactly
a
year back. The old set is still 'whole', but they get quite 'floppy' and
that
started anying me. I doubt there are beanbags available that will not get
floppy if you use them enough.

However, I doubt that the kick-ups will have any bad effect on sportco's,
I
kick-up all the time. And even if it would waer them down, I rather wear
my
beanbags down dan my spine.

Do you use your sportcos outside as well, or indoors only?

Aha, yes, my thoughts too. I do like my spine after :)
Alas, my knees are getting fucked now :(
So remember, kick up from both feet !
Fuck them both up, but less than on just one ! :)

That's normal for any "peach skin" type beanbags, kickups or no kickups.

The kickups may be helping it to happen quicker, but sooner or later
all peach skin bags lose their fuzz.

I've seen a lot of people pretty much stand on the beanbag they're about to
kickup, before rolling it onto their foot. This is completely unnescesary.
You only need a light pressure to move a beanbag.

So if you think your kickups are making the problem worse, try being a bit
lighter on your feet.

You should always buy 2 more props than you're planning to use at any one
time. It not only gives you spares if one wears out, but if you up your
goals, you don't have to buy a whole new set to get an evenly worn level
of kit.

On that fantastic note: Have all your balls on the floor together, so you
don't JUST use the same 7 again and again. Use all 9 balls equally.
Otherwise when it's time to replace/add one, it'll be significantly harder
than the rest.

Something to think about.

My old balls are all in different colors. I like some of the colors more
than others, guess which ones still have their skin :p
