Hi folks. Long time no post.

In a current move to downsize my bookshelves I have decided that it's time to let my copies of 4000 years go back into the wild so that someone else can gain enjoyment from them. I bought my copies new in 2007 and they have been kept in good condition and have hardly any signs of wear apart from a bit of dust.

They are for sale here:

If you can think of anyone who'd enjoy them then pass the link along.

Holy crap, was this one of the same batch that I bought my copy from,
which came from Charlie Holland at Circus Space? If so, I'm fairly sure
it's the first of that batch to be sold. I will be very interested to see
what they finally fetch, after some pretty bonkers prices for single
volumes over the last couple of years.

Also, hello Az! How are you? I haven't seen you for years now but I trust
you're doing well for yourself in Auld Scottishland.

Hi Jay. Doing pretty well thanks. Hope you are too. Sadly less time in life for juggling but I'm still enjoying watching from the sidelines.

It is indeed from Charlie's discovered box and the current high bid is already way beyond what I thought they might attract! I will be a little sad to see them leave as they are full of such wonderful material but they should go to another person who will treasure them rather than gather dust with me. I shan't say I'm unhappy at the price however! We are trying to put together a house deposit which this seems to be contributing nicely to!

Yay! Az! hi :)

You should come over to http://jugglingedge.com - I think the
chatter over there would suit you...

Given that a single volume went for 500Euros recently, I think
you're on target so far. I'm watching with interest!

*fingers crossed* they go to a happy home where they'll be treasured
rather than a book dealer or someone buying as an investment.

Well, I'm currently the high bidder, so hopefully they'll find a happy home with me if they don't go too much higher.

Bad luck David, you didn't win them. Or perhaps it's not such bad luck -
that's an eye-watering pile of cash they went for, and I'd guess that if
you are patient for a few more years you'll have a chance to pick them up
rather cheaper than that.

They still went for less than I expected though!

They did indeed go for much more than I thought they would, but less than previous auctions suggested they could. Either way it was interesting for books I originally thought might get a hundred or so quid at best!

Mind you, they only count as sold when the payment arrives and they get delivered!
