Either add an (8x,6)* of the same colour, or a (6x,4)* of hearts, dimes,
or spades.

(4,6x)* is one of the easiest I can think of... did you have any specific
requirements as to which pattern you would like to transition into?

Hi,

I'm currently learning this transitions too, so I guess I can help a bit:

First option is one higher (6x,4) (so basically a (7,5x) or so), then a
(6x,4) on
the other side and after that the balls (or clubs of course) should all
fall into
the cascade nicely.

A less elegant but easier solution would be a high throw in stead of a 6,
hold
the 4 so you got 4 balls in your hand and one high throw in the air. Then
just
start the cascade. So something like (7,2)5555.

Hope this is understandable.

Probably just 5 club cascade. I am having a real problem with collisions
though.
Thank you,

Hey TG!

Here is a link to a web-based generator of transitions:

http://cursomalabarismo.no.sapo.pt/jdb/ulbox.html

It is a featured link on Daniel's sweet siteswapgeneration.com

See you later.

I don't get it. Were you just waiting for someone to say "clubs" on a
juggling forum?

I'm amazed sometimes that the entertainment of wordplay is lost on some
Americans, yet not on some people for whom English is their second
language.

OT:
To me it makes the idea of learning a second language far more appealing.
Especially since I remember reading once that people who speak two or more
languages are statistically more intelligent. I think the correlation
implies causation. I also remember an article about a scientific study
showing that the more links a person makes with their brain the faster
they think. Unfortunately I have no hyperlinks (no pun intended) to back
this up.

Is there some joke I am missing here besides the one about cards? I am
quite confused.

As to your second point, one could just as easily interpret the
correllation the other way. Because some people are more intelligent
learning other languages comes more easily to them.
But it is a moot point until some study is done.
Thank you,

I was having a bad day. I regret that post.

I was disappointed with the xenophobia of some ignorant British
individuals the
night before. Apologies to anybody who was offended by my post. My
thinking and
reactions were flawed. My response had no place on this newsgroup. :(

No big deal. My response had no place here either. :)

This post neither. Because it's just spam.

Oh wait, that's what I'm here to do... my bad. It HAS something to do
here. Well, not the part about it not having anything to do here - just..
this part.
