Juggler A juggles 9 balls for 59 seconds with 360 catches.

Juggler B juggles 9 balls for 61 seconds with 350 catches.

Assuming no other juggler has ever juggled 9 balls for more than 349
catches or 58 seconds. Who out of Juggler A/B holds the record for toss
juggling 9 balls?

apologies if this has been raised in previous threads.

they're forced to do "eat the apple" as a tie-breaker.

I would say Juggler B since they've juggled for more than 1 minute. For
records under 1 minute, Jiscon counts catches and then, for records over a
minute, counts seconds.

Well, it would seem I was mistaken. After looking at the records page
http://www.juggling.org/records/records.html Anthony Gatto is recorded as
juggling 9 balls for 54 seconds.

I had a look at the 'terms and conditions' and found this:

"In solo events, runs over 250 catches will be compared and listed on the
basis of time alone. Time will be measured from the moment the first throw
leaves the hand to the moment the last valid catch touches the hand.
Fractions of seconds will be rounded down."

So, Juggler B is your record holder.

Thanks!

It would be pretty annoying to have made more catches for a given number
of objects and not hold the record (not that this really applies to 9
balls because of gatto's dominance).
