Cheers!
Thanks for joining and thanks for the kind words. Welcome to the lounge.
Steve aka Alfredo Fettucini
That's a great idea, count us in.
Great idea. I am just now learning my way around the Blog site and all of
the possibilities, but would love
to do that eventually.

Excellent!
Rootberry's in the house. The "Cool Factor" of the Lounge just increased.
Thanks for the "follow" guys. Be sure to keep me in the loop on where you
are going to be playing
"public' shows, or let me know where your calendar/dates get posted. I am
sure that Jugglers want to
know where and when they can catch your act.
S
Thanks for the tip...

Good deal Steve. I will be watching and reading.

Thanks AL
Steve,
I think this is a good thing and it somewhat atones for your behaviour
within the IJA. But I still think you have some major apologies for that
behaviour. True, you did privately apologise to me, but it really should
have been public. Also true that the IJA bosses tricked you into being
their attack dog. But you yourself chose to go on the attack (even though
you admit you had no idea what you were talking about). You also let
yourself be used as an excuse by IJA bosses, even though you've admitted
you had no knowledge nor condoned their actions. Simply put, your
credibility is shot, and you behaved like a hothead. Your actions help
cost the IJA over $100,000 dollars and every IJA members who attends IJA
festivals has probably paid more than $100 extra dollars because of you
(and the IJA bosses you blindly supported).
Regardless, I wish you luck with this project.
There, that's better. :-)

Much!
One wish to add to the wish list for the blog - is there any way you can tag
each post with a keyword indicating the country it's relevant to? It would
be super awesome to be able to build a feed of performers who I don't have
to book a flight to go and see.
At least, I think blogspot allows you to do tagging.

Got it!
Great idea LP. As the blog grows to include more International
performances (which it already has) this
would be a very helpful feature. Thanks to all for the encouragement and
great input/ideas on improving
it.

If only "<snip>" worked in real life. The world would be a nicer place.
Kidnapping in Columbia <snip> didn't happen. Trouble in Iran <snip> gone.
But real life doesn't recognize "<snip>". Bad things do happen. And yes,
although most jugglers are VERY nice people, sometimes even jugglers do
bad things to other jugglers.
I had an agreement with Steve Langley (fettucinibro). He did not honor
that agreement. That is something I think people should know about Steve
before they do much business with him.
I realize rec.juggling readers don't know many of the issues involved, so
I will relate it to Sam with his return refusal of Brontosaurus Balls. I
think most readers will agree that what Sam (and Steve) did was a mistake.
But that aside, perhaps the bigger error Sam (and Steve) made is to refuse
to correct their errors when they easily could.
Steve admitted to me his errors and would have been a primary witness
against the IJA. He could have undone much of the damage he caused. It
appears that the IJA bought Steve's silence, or pressured him into
silence, or most likely both. To me, Steve's actions were not ethical and
he cannot be trusted. I would not enter into a business agreement with
him. I would advise other jugglers to be wary of dealing with him also.
I'm sure he is mostly a nice guy, except for when he isn't.
