Francis Brunn - TV appearance - 1969 (video)

I've just watched this and can't believe it hasn't been mentioned

It's Francis Brunn appearing on a (German? Based on the logo in the
top left) TV show, the title claims it's from 1969 (so who am I to
argue!) and it's possibly one of the clearest colour videos of him
that I've seen in a long time.
I haven't see this particular clip previously so I thought it worth
mentioning as I know there are one or two Brunn fans reading this!

He must have been knackered after he finished a show.
I notice that the audience didn't applaud after the impossible trick -
because the drummer/band didn't give them enough of a musical sting.

His finale, with 12 props, made me wonder...
Who has used the most props for a finale, or other, on stage?
Am I right to say the most props juggled (or flashed anyway) was 11?
I am talking about a single person of course.

I do a trick involving 15 items, but it's nowhere near as impressive
as the Brunn finish.

I noticed that too. I thought it was a wonderful example of "people
won't applaud unless you signal to them that what you've just done
is worthy of the applause"
There's a lesson there that's well worth learning if you're a high-skill
juggler.

And thanks to you for doing the same to us. :)
He's quite an inspiring guy, dancing, acrobatics balancing, contact
juggling, control with many parts of his body from head to toe with many
body alignments, all synchronized to his music and performed with frenetic
energy and crisp control. Super skilled and from what I've read about him,
plus the look on his face, obsessed with his art - a good role model for
any skill practitioner that wants to reach the heights.
I think it kind of funny, still, that for one of the most influential
jugglers of the last century he hardly does any toss juggling. In this
version of his routine, there was a bit of 3b shower, 3b cascade, 2 in one
hand, 4 non-uniform balls in a fountain, and 3 rings in a one handed
fountain. All for, what, maybe 10 seconds total?
Weird, methinks.

I watched the video with my niece and nephew (10 and 6, non-jugglers) and
for the first minute they kept asking to do something else but by mid-way
into it they liked it and now they want to see it again! They say thanks
for posting it! (Me too, of course.)
