Lead ammo ban bill – eliminating hunting one state at a time
|
| |
This issue affects people outside of California as well as hunters in the state, so study up and take action.
The basic issue is this:
1) Anti-hunting and anti-gun groups thought-up a way to ban lead ammo and are test driving the scheme in California.
2) Their claim is that an endangered species (California condors) ingest lead bullet fragments from game carcasses.... more »

Turkey Hunters
|

Any of you interested in a new (well, kinda) Turkey Hunting Forum?
I've had a TH Forum for years and years but the software was outdated and partially broke and no means to stop SPAMMERS. I've updated it to the latest UBB Ver. 7.5.7 and did a clean install because the old forums were too old and too many versions in between to make a clean upgrade. Mississippi season starts in Oct with bow. It ends in Feb. with bow. So far I am at 6 of my allowed 8. 5 with the crossbow. Lots of meat, no good bucks.
How are folks doing?
The group is very quiet. Where has everyone gone?

Not a second to do anything. Made turn, saw... more »

Farewell to a hunter
|
| |
While I was overseas last week, I got a series of texts saying ‘ring me’, ‘we need to talk’ and ‘an incident that’s happened’ from The Midget and a guy I hunt with. It does not take a great deal of cognitive horsepower to figure out that something serious was up with somebody else that I hunt with.... more »
