Aside from the fact that your stated velocity is wildly out of line with the
vast majority of published .38 Super loading data (even the +P loads),
tossing them may have a better effect than shooting them: The above load
produces a muzzle energy of about 695 ft./lbs. -- about the same as the .22
Hornet shooting the 45 grain bullet @ 2690 fps. Put another way, its about
the same as the pathetic little .30 Carbine generates @ 100 yds.!
