Hunting in Costa Rica

I do not know if anybody will be interested in this, but it is now illegal to hunt in Costa Rica. I have been to that beautiful country a number of times, but as an avid hunter, I am saddened to hear that this has happened. A good friend of mine, who is from Costa Rica, supports this (I think he sees wildlife in the Walt Disney "Thumper and Bambi" way, funny looking cute people on four legs).
