Another thought on the kitty conversation 
  Last month I did a bunch of reading on new hybrid cats. They are mixes between the domestic cat and the smaller wild cats. They all seem to be larger than the domestic and some sites claim they are very wild. They are also expensive which would cut down on releases, they could just run away though.... more »

Dalton Carr R.I.P. 
  Dalton died on 13May at his home in Craig Colorado after a long battle with Parkinsons.   ...Didn't see it but I came very close, I believe. I had ridden my mountain bike up to this particular stretch of road last May to see if it was passable yet after a wet spring. SKS 7.62x39mm for hunting? 
  I understand in the US that the SKS 7.62x39mm is becoming a popular rifle for hunting deer. I am looking at another rifle for hunting deer/bear and was wondering how this so-called poor man's rifle stacks up against the .30/.30 or other rifles? Thanks, Scott
