I have a old belt that I have outgrown and have been unable to
find anyone in the Kansas city area so I'm asking for help I want to
keep the belt and have it enlarged to accommodate my new belly.
Does anyone know where I could send the belt to get it enlarged.

Maybe even get a new leather belt with the same buckle.

About a week ago I caught part of the Diane Rehm show on NPR. I don't like
Rehm; she sounds like a rusty hinge and she's the queen of bleeding hearts,
but during her interview with poet Maya Angelou she went fishing with the
question, "You were brought up with guns in the house?" (Rehm, needless to

There is an interesting video about legislative attempts to go further on the subject of lead in condors in California.

This video is from August of 2012, but the subject (and the condors!) is not dead.

The story is that the tree huggers don't want to let science intrude into their values.

[link]

I seems to me there is a progression.

No guns age 9.
BB gun rifle at age 10.
Pellet gun rifle at age 11.
22 rifle at age 12.
Shotgun at 14.
Centerfire rifle at 14.
9mm pistol age 22.
45 pistol age 45.
Some revolvers at age 50.
22 handgun age 65.
Pellet gun age 70.
No guns age 80.

I know I am getting old, as I am more proud of how I get a big buck carcass to butcher than how I hunted it.

I swapped a 1974 Ruger M77 (7 mag) for some machining. The rifle had
been partially damaged in a fire, but had been restocked, Duracoated
but never reassembled. Im missing a few bits and pieces...but nothing
disturbing. Im trying to assemble the trigger group so I can take it
out and test fire it to make sure there isnt any metal issues. (Tie

In Colorado there is a rising grass-roots movement to recall the four
state legislators who are primarily responsible for ramming through
the obnoxious gun control bill which was recently passed. Of these
four miscreants the most morally foul is State Senate President John
Morse, who infamously said that "People who own guns are essentially a
