Springfield trapdoor rifle serial number

Hello,

I have a Model 1884 Springfield trapdoor rifle with serial number
498765. From the information it found at;
http://www.nps.gov/spar/upload/serial%20numbers1-2.doc
the rifle was produced in 1890.

Does anyone have Al Frasca's books on Springfield's or other sources
of information about these rifles cross-referenced to the serial
number?
