I've come across a new-in-the-box 1982? HK-93. The box looks like crap (and
that's being generous), but the firearm is unfired and flawless. Any
thoughts on a fair price? Can't find out much info online except the date
markings, and these came from wikipedia so who knows?

thanks

I don't know personally, but go over to hkpro.com and ask on the forum
there, I'm sure they can give you the going price. Also, go to a gun
auction site like gunbroker and look up the prices closed auctions
that someone actually bid on for that rifle. There's also the Blue
Book, but that data is sometimes dated.

The Blue Book of Firearms Values is a good reference. Also look over the
online auctions for actual sale prices. You could just go to your local
shop and ask what they would sell it for. Be sure to specify sell it for not
buy it for.

My Blue Book is a bit dated, from 2006, but here's what they show

NIB 3100
Exec 2750
V.G. 2300

Bear in mind these prices are pre-Barak effect pricing. I've heard of
HK-91's
going for over 3300 used.
