Starline still makes 30 mauser brass - see

You can only order through the Midway branch office in Italy

Write to them about export requirements
http://www.starlinebrass.com/advanced_search_result.php?keywords=30+mauser&x=0&y=0

These firms sell smaller quantities, but they are currently out:

There must be somewhere in the EU that sells brass, it would be a lot
easier to ship.

Starline makes new brass, also Fiocchi has new ammo, a bit spendy.
Not sure how you get Starline brass to Italy, though, maybe Midway has
an Italian branch. It's good stuff, have a few hundred myself. Wish
the Star was legal here. Good luck!

the problem is that midway Italia don't have that brass , now
I have emailed starline, but require a licence of importation of my country,
that don't exist because brass and bulletts are unregulated.
a snake that eat his tail.
some italian gunstore have them, but at about 30 euros for 100pz, plus
shipping and handling
more twice that starline prices in Usa.
Fiocchi make only live ammo, about 38/40 euros for 50 pz in gunshop, and
only if avaible.
I will search some european gunshop. i know that only starline brass are
currently manufactured

# I will search some european gunshop. i know that only starline brass are
# currently manufacturedI have made the stuff back in the '70s from .38 Special, turned off
the rim, cut an extractor groove and reformed. Each one of those was
like a piece of gold and I really, really hated losing one. But it's
what I had available at the time, nobody was making new stuff and the
old stuff was in the collector's realm. I've also heard of chopping .
223 off, reforming and reaming, probably as much trouble to do. This
is advanced handloading stuff, you do need a small metal lathe, cheap
now that the Chinese are making them.

The license is for OUR State Department, apparently they think
anything having to do with guns goes directly to terrorists and need
proof otherwise. Really, if Midway imports it, you might be better
off waiting for it to come in. You probably wouldn't be the only
customer, you might want to contact them to see if they can bring in
some.

I buy brass yesterday from another seller in Italy....68 euros including S&H
for 197 cases, the only avaible in store
www.covtrading.com specialized on-line seller in brass and bullets.
also www.ilbossolo.it have them, about the same price 26 euros and some cent
for 100pz
remember, live rounds, occasionally avaibles from Fiocchi , cost 38/40 euros
for 50 pz.
I payed one box of 50 Fiocchi ammo, 36 euros, a little discount because I 'a
a old customer, from a gunshop in my city specialized in surplus rifles ,
C&R and reloading components, even for rare calibers. It was the only box in
gunshop whit my little depot of 100 brass unfired. No more avaible.
Others gunshops in the county are hunting/sporting oriented gunshops whit
also modern pistols and current pistols and rifle ammunition of large sales
(30-06 7mmreming. various .300 , 40, 9mm 45 357 and such calibers)

Sellier & Bellot make 7.62 Tokarev brass, which should be usable.
