A buddy has an m98, original, w bayonet and scabbard. Many barn years, v. rusty. Not a 98 k.

What are good options for this one?

He didn't keep it in a barn. But the guy he got it from had a relative who did.

Unmolested 98 Mausers have collector's value, rusty ones, not so
much. Probably just wall hanger/decorator right now.

If the bayonet and scabbard are in decent shape, they may be worth
more than the rifle, but probably still not a lot...

You could always put it on a site like GunBroker, and have a few buddies
place a few sham bids on it. ;-)

Just say in the description of it that the rust was caused by Adolph
Schnickelgruber spilling a beer on it.
