Wayne LaPierre was at Waldenbooks last week signing
copies of his book _Guns, Crime and Freedom_.
I had expected it to be at the literary level
of his inflammatory money-soliciting NRA mailings,
but upon reading it I was _extremely_ impressed.

This compact book (about 250 pages) is filled with
tight, elegant prose which gets right to the point.
It is pro-RKBA, not a pro-sporting-goods, beginning
with the 2nd Amendment's history and the need for
concealed carry reform. It then criticizes the
control nuts' illogic, and criminal justice system failings.

Finally, it discusses gun-control's role in enabling
oppressive government (JPFO stuff), viciously attacking
the BATF as a rogue organization, Janet Reno in particular,
and the media's increasingly blatant anti-NRA bias.

The book retails for $22.95. I encourage everyone
to help put it on the Best Seller Lists where it will
be more difficult for the media to ignore.

A question: I would like to buy a dozen copies to send
to nongun relatives and friends, but I would need
a significant break in the price. Did someone mention
a mail-order house that was selling this book at a
significant discount? f...@cs.tulane.edu
