Old ammo

Hi Folks,
I was looking through a can of old ammo and I came across this. It's
a small pasteboard box that holds 15 rounds of rifle ammo headstamped
"P162 S 4 39". On the box it has "Datr." or "Patr." on the first line.
The rest reads
"P 162. 8 L.39"
" Nz. Gew. Bl. P.(2-2-0,45): Rdf.100.L.38" Two more lines but a bit
faded so I won't list them.
Any idea? I'm guessing 8mm Mauser made in 1939. I'm not going to open
the box again because it is starting to come apart.

How could you forget that Patr. is patrone - cartridge, and nz.gew bl.p is
nitrozellouse gewehr blattchen pulver ? Look at
