NRA preaches to the choir

I'm an NRA lifer but they make me validate new card telling me I must do
it to continue their insurance. Baloney, they are trying to get me to
give membership gifts and up-grade my membership to patron, whatever.
Highly annoying. Posting because maybe someone in NRA office follows ng.

Maybe you should READ the included paperwork. It is the INSURANCE
company that requires the validation. Or don't you see the line at the
bottom that says

I cannot accept any of these special offers but please validate my NRA
insurance benefits anyway.

The insurance company wants to make sure you are still alive.

I'm not a lifer, but I got the same message. Like most of the groups I
belong to they are just looking for more money around the holidays. Not
exactly unusual. Wonder what all the postage costs?
