I've been hoarding old military manuals since I was in high school.
I've been mining the web since I left college. I've started posting
some of the stuff I have here:

http://www.scribd.com/haraoi_conal

I've started with World War II stuff mostly, but there are some
others. I'm tending toward firearm and vehicle manuals so far. If the
interest warrants, I start posting the more boring stuff too.

You may need to sign up for a membership to download, I don't
remember. I've been downloading so much stuff from Scribd that the
sign up is no sweat.

If nothing else, check out:
http://www.scribd.com/doc/23432027/A-Basic-Manual-of-Military-Small-Arms-W-H-B-Smith-1943-How-to-Load-Operate-Disassemble-Assemble-American-German-Italian-Japanese-Russian

I found this book on Scribd originally and if you own any military
surplus firearm from the 1940s or slightly earlier, the manual for it
is in here. It is a truly wonder reference.

Have fun and enjoy,
harry

Thank you for the head-up. You've put up some interesting material,
and the site itself is fascinating.

You need an account to download books, as well as to save favorites,
follow accounts, etc. However, with a Google account you can log-in
under openID, so that's no issue. Check here on how to use openID:

I have finished posting my entire collection to date. As I find and
process more I will keep the Scribd sit updated.

Thanks for all of your support and encouragement,

Its funny. It took me a while to circle back. I had found this website
around Christmas time. They did in fact fill several of the gaps in my
collection.

Thanks,
harry
