The thread concerning the home conversions of the various Street Fighter titles
made me curious about everyone's street fighter collections. List all home

Currently I only own Street Fighter Alpha 3, but I generally don't keep older
SF games. Otherwise, at one point or another, I've owned most of the ones that
have appeared on the Genny, SNES, and Saturn... :)

So this poll is strictly SF-only games? (no Vs games, right?) Okay
then...:

Street Fighter II Special Championship Edition- Genesis
Super Street Fighter II- Genesis
SFZ- Saturn
SF Collection(SFZ2', SSF2, and SSF2T)- Saturn
SFZ3- PSX
SFZ3- DC
SFEX+Alpha- PSX
SFEX2+- PSX
SFEX3- PS2
Capcom Generation 5(SF Collection 2[SF2, SF2', and SF2:HF)- PSX
Street Fighter III W Impact- DC
Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike- DC

I used to own Fighting Street(Turbo CD), SF2(SNES), SF2 Turbo(SNES),
SSF2(SNES), and SF2: CE(PCE). That's a whole lotta Street Fighter! :)

Currently own:
SF2 - SNES
SF2T - SNES
SSF2 - SNES
SFA2 - SNES, yes the version that stops the decompress data
SF2HF - Genesis (Nomad)
SF2CE - Turbo Express, Coolest Technical achievement IMO.
SFA2 - Saturn
SFCollection 1 - PSX
SFCollection 2 - PSX
SFZ3 - Saturn
SFZ3 - PSX
SFEX - PSX, I hate this version. Puts me to sleep. Not very Capcom.
SF3:DI - DC
SSF2T - PC, CDROM Version which never worked correctly
SSF2 - PC, odd version with low color and detail sprites
SFA2 - PC, Might have been SFA, hardly touch it and might have lost it.
SF - Some horrible attempt to porting the original to the PC.

Close to SF but not quite:
Match on the Millenium - NGPC

Wished I had:
SSFT2 - 3DO (I almost got my hands on a system and game for free, but the
whole system disappeared)
SFCollections for the Saturn
Arcade units. :) All of them!
NES hack version which an OLD EGM actually published a picture of before.

Tried but not too excited about:
SF2 - GB

Planning to get:
SFA3 - DC (maybe after 3rd Impact)
SF3:3i - DC

My God man, why not?! Hyper Fighting owns any of the newer SF fighters for
FREE with the possible exception of Super SF2 Turbo, available on 3DO
(hah!), PC, and Saturn and PSX as part of the SF Collection.

You know the version of A2 in the SF Collection isn't as good as the
original right? One obvious thing is the Alpha Counters, which now take 1.5
levels as opposed to just one. Some of the better CCs were removed (Chun's
low RH into Lighting Leg is one), some juggles don't work (in the corner
with Ryu, L2 Shinkuu Tatsumaki, then juggle with L1 Shinkuu Hadouken), they
screwed up Ryu's Red FB (it used to just be an up close fierce FB that was
GREAT for foot games, now it's a completely separate move that comes out
slower), and according to some of the SF veterans on #capcom (EFNet), some
of the weaker characters were actually weakened even more. I have SF
Collection for Saturn but I got SF Zero 2 anyway as it's the better version.
Plus, the blue damage on SF Zero 2 Dash is just ugly!!

Here's my list by system:

SNES:
SF2 Turbo
Super SF2

PSX:
SFZ3
SF EX+@ (import version)

Saturn:
SF Collection (import version)
Capcom Generation 5 (contains SF2:WW, Dash and HF)
SFZ
SFZ2
SFZ3

Dreamcast:
SFZ3
SF3: W Impact (import version)
SF3: 3rd Strike

I'd like to get SFZ2 for SNES, not to mention the import versions of all the
SNES SF2 games (WW, HF and Super). If I ever get a Genesis/Mega Drive I'll
might get the Mega Drive versions just for the heck of it, but I have no
plans on getting a 3DOh for the crappy version of ST it had (no parallax,
wierd music, no original character codes). I hear the PCE version of SF2'
is nice, but I guess I have enough versions of Dash. I wish Capcom hadn't
been so lazy by not adjusting the US home versions to match the US arcade CE
as there are some major differences in some of the characters' moves and the
AI behaves a bit differently too.

But I don't care about that, I just care about being able to play as Cammy
because she is my favorite. No Cammy = no fun. I hated Alpha counters anyway.
I am a SF vetern myself, I have been playing the dang games since SF2 came
out in 1991. Anyway to me it is all about Cammy. :) Luckily Capcom was
smart enough to include her in Capcom vs SNK.

And soon to be on the DC as another one of those annoying Vampire
Chornicles type Japan only mail away deals. Why must Capcom do this?
I would actually like to get SSF2T for the DC. Maybe I will be able to
play the PSX version with Bleemcast. Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo
is the best fighter ever. And to keep the theme of my other post
in has Delta Red Cammy, which I prefer to Alpha Cammy. :)
