Subject: Can't take it anymore...Ordering a DC!!
After waiting through the $600 importing days, I've finally decided to order
an Asian DC from NCS when they open again on Monday. So I have a few
questions...

First, I can't decide whether or not to get Sonic now or when the US version
comes out. I plan on getting a domestic DC(6 months should be long enough to
garner the extra bucks) for the US games and using this one for games that
might not make it to the US, or the game I just can't wait to have. Sonic is
definitely one of these games. I'm only gonna get 1 game with it for now( along
with a 2nd controller and VMS unit) and I want to wait for the US versions of
VF3tb, and Sega Rally 2. So I'm leaning toward Power Stone as my first game.
Any other suggestions?

2nd,  for the owners of Power Stone, is it still fun? Does it seem like a game
you'll keep playing for awhile? I've read most of the reviews and thoughts
posted before and it seems like a really fun game, especially the 2 player
mode.

3rd, anyone get Psychic Force 2012 yet? I played the original in an arcade and
it seemed alright, but I didn't really play it enough to get the hang of it.
The game seems heavily reliant on projectiles.

So that's it, basically I can't decide on Sonic or Power Stone. Can't wait
till I get my DC!!

PF2012 is an arcade perfect port of the WOLF taito arcade board version, Also
the DC version plays better, If you likde the furst PF game then you can't go
wrong with 2012...

Why not get the import Sega Rally 2 or VF3tb?  Sonic Adventure is the
only game of the ones you mentioned with a significant language barrier,
English will be a much nicer plus to SA than to Rally2 or VF3.  A lot of
story elements....

VF3tb, OK, maybe it will have a better vs. mode (not stuck keeping
winning char.) in the US release, but otherwise is perfect and has NO
language barrier.

Rally 2 - I can't see why anyone wouldn't import.  The game is going to
be IDENTICAL here.  There is not a frame rate problem, you will be
amazed.  I say GET SEGA RALLY 2!

Power Stone - excellent fighter, only language barriers are the
endings.  Worth picking up.

Psychic Force 2012 - if you're a fighter fan you may like it.  Won
Gamest's "best arcade fighting game" award last year over Street Fighter
Zero 3 and KoF'98.  That swayed me to get it.  I like Power Stone more,
and don't think PF2012 is essential, but if you're into fighters you
won't be let down.  Solid game, not for everyone.

So in closing... why not get VF3tb, SA, and SR2 imported?  Of the
three, Sonic is the only one with signigicant changes coming in the US
version so all you're doing with VF3 and SR2 is waiting for a US title
identical to the already released one.  I'd say Power Stone and Rally 2
are my favorite DC games of my 6 so far (Sonic, Aero Dancing, PF2012,
and VF3tb are the other 4).  I would think all of the "big 4" titles so
far (Sonic, VF3, SR2, and Power Stone) are must haves for DC owners.....

The whole gameplay of power stone is based on  projectiles.
and its not that good, the gameplay is very basic there is no depth and all the
charators play the same if you want to win just get the fastest caractore,
there is no balance.
I dont think you will play this more then a week. I think you should get VF the
US version is still 5 months away thats a long time and there is nothing out
right now that you can play more then a month just get VF you will  play it
more then 5 months or you can wait 2 weeks and get HofD 2.

If I were you.. I would get Sega Rally 2 and VF3 now. These games are
great and I play them continously. As for Sonic. I would wait for the
U.S. release on that one. The game is very good and playable regardless
of the japanese. I found myself trying to fastfoward the dialogue in
Sonic.. They like to talk too much at times. I'm sure the U.S. version
would be more enjoyable when you know what they're saying. Other than
that, it's an awesome game.
