When I bought my Wii, I also bought a spare controller set (remote,
nanchuk, and wheel). And I'm going to get two more remotes (one with
Wii Play), since some games can have four players. Are there any four
player games that use the Nanchucks? Also, I bought Mario Kart; is it
worth to get two more wheels? And, I plan on getting the Zapper with
the crossbow game; is that worth the cost?

I bought a dual charging stand that came with two NiMH battery packs.
Is this a better idea than using standard double-a rechargeables?

Not to mention that there is a new attachment for each Wii controller now.
I would guess most new games that come out now will adapt to its use. Wii
Sports Resort and Tiger Woods 10 are two games I have that use them, and its
a nice hardware upgrade. A little too pricey at $25 - $29 each though.
Sports Resort, along with Mario Party 8, Mario Strikers Charged (soccer
style game), Smash Bros Brawl, to name a few makes use of the nunchuck, AND
are 4 player games. As for getting more than one wheel, that's up to you.
Frankly, its just an asthetic thing - you can always use the Wiimote without
one. Not sure about the Zapper. Personally, I don't buy cosmetic add ons
like the wheel, but if it helps your enjoyment of a game, then it might
worth it.

I use dual charging stand as well. But I also use a really long lasting
rechargable Sanyo Eneloop (white colored). Those suckers really hold the
charge for a long time.
