Can Madden games from different years play together on xbl?

[A Man, Just Like Other Men]

Thinking of picking up an '07 or '08 just to have a good co-op game for my
buddy and me but wondered if I'll be able to jump online with either of
those titles and still find a game or not.

No, also Madden 08 has no local co-op play, so if you and a friend, or 3
friends, want to play on one team, sorry. 2 players only. EA and their NFL
licensing can go fornicate themselves.
