As I get closer to getting my first commercial game out on the iphone, I'm
starting to think of new projects to work on next.

I've already got a few in the pipeline based on a new twist on classic
games (but far enough removed to avoid accusations of copying/cloning), but
I'm curious to know what classic style games would _you_ like to reimagined
on the iphone.

Most of you know me as a long time poster on here. I really want to see
this group keep going, but it's getting harder and harder to find classic
stuff, so I figure, I'll remake some, and maybe we can talk about that on
here.

If you post ideas, please keep in mind that this is a public forum.

Cheers,
Dan (Former SumGuy north) Lingman

Sadly, that wouldn't make it past the nudity restrictions that Apple
imposes.

unfortunately, Apple doesn't allow that class of application.

Surely it's possible to distribute iPhone apps other than through apple
itself?

Of course it is. However, I'm not targetting the jailbroken phone market -
I'm building apps that will (assuming they gain approval) make it up on the
offical app store. That seems to be the spot to make actual money, and
since my time isn't exactly free...

Say what you will, I contend that porn games are the killer app for
touch screens. :-)

Waiting on touch screens that touch you back, I'd say.

Not to sound like a troll, but I would not buy an iPhone out of
principal, even if it can be jailbroken. The behavior displayed by
Apple is very anti-freedom and sets a very scary precident. That said,
I would love to see Jumpman (c64) released for mobile, and I hope the
company is platform-agnostic and releases for all.
