Hello,

I wanted to post this to the group one last time before it hits
ebay. I have had several offers for the game in the $1500-$1700 range.
I am looking to sell to the highest buyer ASAP. Top priority will go
to people not using PayPal as I would like to keep from paying the
fees. I will work with you on shipping, but shipping arrangements must
be made by the buyer. Game works 100%, cabinet does have damage (I can
send pics to anyone interested). Has the original Amplifone monitor
with Wintron (no screen burn). I also have a Pac Man, Galaga, and
Mortal Kombat 2 that I will sell for very reasonible prices!!!!
Several boardsets (NBA Jam, Mystic Marathon, Double Dragon 2, Smash TV,
etc.....everything must go....or it hits ebay!!!! Thanks....email
"ra...@insightbb.com" My zip code for checking shipping quotes is
46037 Fishers, Indiana.

Yes, this is the same Quantum from about a year ago. I put it on ebay
once and it did not sell at the time. That was fine with me as I got
several more hours of play out of it. In any case, since then I have
had another son and don't have the room anymore. The cabinet does need
some work, but it is not bad by no means!!!! I really wish more people
could see the game in person as most of the damage appears minimal to
eye. You put a high res camera image on any of the defects and it
makes it look absolutly horrible. In any case, the cabinet did
substain some water damage before I owned it. It also has some dings,
scratches, etc. If i had a house with more space, I really would keep
the machine. My main reasons for selling the machine are that I am
making a play room for both of my sons, and my hobby should not take up
their space. I also have very minimal knowledge of repairing color
vectors, and if it went out, I would really be in trouble. Anyways,
long story short...it is avaliable and I would be more than willing to
talk to any one that is interested with a fair offer.
I also thought I would make a point to let everyone know that the
pics that Tim refered to are not the ones of my quantum. My Quantum is
serial number 123 and would need more work done to it than the Quantum
that he pointed out!!!

Thanks for the posts, and if anyone is interested, please email me. I
do have this advertised locally, but my hopes of selling a rare game by
posting locally are little to none!!!

Sounds like you have a couple of offers for $1500+ - why not just take the
outstanding highest offer?

Andrew,

That is exactly what I am going to do. I currently have two
offers that are apparently interested in the machine. I have been
working a deal with one of these parties for over a month. I thought
the deal went sour so I posted the machine up for sale again. The
offers that I have at the $1500 amount were a little lower than I
wanted to sell for, so I passed on those. I gave the first party that
I delt with a little more time to come up with the money, if he doesn't
come through than I will be selling to the second party that is ready
to PayPal me, unless I get a much higher offer. Thanks to all the
interested people, and I hope that this game can go to someone that can
appreciate it!!!!

Quick note Jon when people pay me using paypal I make them add the fees
to the total.I myself add in the fees when I buy somthing from people
on the newsgroup just because I dont think they should pay it.

I thought that adding the fees was a big no-no in the eyes of
Paypal...??

I think adding the fees is a big no-no in the eyes of Ebay. I do like
Dave's idea of adding the fees into the sale. I have had offers
bouncing back and forth between $1875-$1950 (with the buyer using
PayPal...which would cost me about $60 or so in PayPal fees). I have
been working with the individual for some time, and we just haven't
closed the deal as of yet. I have one other deal for $2000 using
PayPal, but I haven't heard back from him since the offer was made and
I responded back. In any case, I really think the guy I have been
trying to close a deal with really wants the game bad. It is just bad
timing and he is waiting for money from another party. In any case,
the offers in the $1500 range were a little low, and I really was
looking for $2000-$2250. I guess you don't always get what you want -
LOL

Nope, these pics are of my Quantum, not the one Rabus is selling.
