Subject: Atlanta Auction Results: 10-20-07
Sorry I'm late.

First off, this was a complete change from the last Atlanta auction.
This time most games actually worked, in fact there was no dead row,
just a few broken games spread around. Tons of pinball machines. There
were deals for everyone here, much to the sellers' dismay. One seller
apparently got pissed off and threw a fit when every one of his
multicades got passed on. The seller was late getting there and there
were not many buyers, which may have contributed. There were good
deals on multicades, classics, and newer stuff, notably a Ms. Pac
cabaret for $225, a working Neo-Geo 4-slot for $125, a Marvel vs
Capcom 2 showcase for $250, a working Space Invaders cocktail for $25,
and a whole army of cheap Neo-Geos. I picked up the $150 Moon Patrol
which looks and plays nice, but apparently blows circuit breakers,
heh. But I digress.

WOW!
Some really great deals there!

I wish Super Auctions would visit NJ again ... Unfortunately, the last
time Super Auctions was here the deals were like the above. I suppose
the is the reason why Super Auctions bailed on this area.

Congrats on the Moon Patrol... I remember that one.

Thanks for taking notes.  I did not get anything at this one because I
did not see anything I just had to have.  I have gotten 3 or 4
cabinets recently for projects so I have enough junk to keep me busy
till the next auction.

My buddy who was riding with me did get the MK3 and the Strike Force.
It was really fun loading those monsters into my truck.

See you at the next one...

You have no idea how long I've waited for a Moon Patrol to show up at
an auction. It's one of my girlfriend's favorites and it's a fun,
underrated Williams game IMHO.

Was it the MK3 in the Off Road cab? I've dealt with Off Road cabs
before and they're absolute monsters, even when they're empty. I'd
never really heard of Strike Force, but it looks pretty fun to play.
Is it like Choplifter?

You're the Art with the website that has Atlanta auction info, right?
If you'd like you can use this list and I can email you some bad cell
phone pics of some of the games.

Chris

Chris, thanks a lot for taking the prices and posting them. That
Apache 3 is I think my best arcade deal ever, I was playing it tonight
it is a blast! Also, the cockpit Pole Position is actually a Pole
Position 2 which has a new monitor in it, oh yea, I'm happy. Oh, I got
that Off Road, it is a monster to move, but $100 for a working Off
road?, Wow, hard to pass on. I've added 50-60 new game since you came
by last, give me a call, would love to have you guys visit again.
Thanks, Steve.
