You can use GREASED LIGHTNING on most overlays. dont use it on TAITO
overlays (like frontline, etc).

I concur, Greased Lightening is great. Apply to rag first and then
wipe on. For maximum safety, following the cleaning with a damp cloth
to wipe up an cleaner residue that may remain on the panel. Make sure
the panel in dry when done.

Have to agree, CPOP is awesome. If I have ground in dirt, I use a SOS pad
and some soft scrub, but then I always use CPOP on it afterwards. That stuff
is great and I have used it on a variety of things which were not arcade
related. I have also used it on coin doors, tmolding, etc.. as well.. I
agree with Darin, come on Brett make some more CPOP!!!!

I am a fan of Simple Green and a brass brush. I know how that sounds,
but it works great and does not damage the cpo.

What about yellow cig burns on painted metal CPs, any way to remove
this without removing the paint or is this permanent?

I wonder if that scratch remover that they use on cars would work for
something like this?

I used Greased Lightning, sprayed on and used a toothbrush to get out
the really dirty stuff, works pretty good, but can leave a residue.
Wasn't there something called 303? I think I got some samples of it
once and it worked ok too...

Mean Green. Use it everywhere. Spray on the sides and watch the dirt
roll off...works very good. Test though on some vinyl sideart first
before spraying. I know it removes color off Wizard of Wor sideart and
the Tron background cityscape so far.

And yes, Magic Eraser does remove paint.. It is abrasive. I have used
it a lot on pinball playfield prior to repainting touchups and
clearcoating, or to remove the yellowed top layer.

I'm accustomed to using "Tuff Stuff" with pretty decent results.

Others have mentioned that you can use (brass) wire brushes, etc. for
thorough cleaning, which I've found to be true in my experience, but
only on unpopulated control panels. Wire brushes, scouring pads, steel
wool, etc. are bad news on control panel plastics. When cleaning a
populated panel, I just use a toothbrush or similar and have more than
acceptable results.

C-POP is my favorite protectant after a good cleaning, but I'm biased there.

For those of you that are requesting me producing this again -- I have
no problem starting up again, but I don't want to have to fiddle w/ the
day-to-day shipping; I'd just be interested in (bulk) wholesale.

That's your cue, Darin!
