This is not a joke nor is it to stir up the pot.
I will buy Zinfer a ticket from OH to AZ if he takes Darin up on his offer.
I feel this is a great opportunity for Zinfer to make a positive move
with all the negativity in his life right now. Since you are a religious
person, take this as a sign. People truly want to help you make your
life better.

Please contact me once you get your affairs together in OH and are ready
for the life change.

Regards,

Stephen

yes the offer is genuine from me. keep in mind im not offering a car to
use. so a bus ticket wont be much good. public transportation is
severely lacking in the phoenix area and chandler is even worse.

he will need a car. anyone in phx want to offer one up for 30 days?

I dunno if the journey to AZ would take him to Central IL or not but I
do have an extra car, it's not much but it runs good.
I ain't taking sides in this whole ordeal, and I'm not trying to bust
anyones chops or poke fun at anyone, but if it's needed, the car is
there. Just let me know. Thats all I got to say on this.

If he takes you up on your offer I'll kick in $50 when he gets to your
house to help him start. Just email me if it happens.

Darin that is most freakin generous!

Thats 1st class accomidations there Zinny, you might want to take him
up on that offer.

Put me down for $50.00 as well.

Oh and can I get the book, and movie rights to the whole story too ;)

I'll kick in 50 bones. That makes it an even 200.00 which will cover
a months food for one person. Of course this is "fridge food" and not
eating out every night ;)

So now you got housing for 30 days in a new state full of opportunity
and nice weather. And offer for the ride, or a car to use, and 200
bones..

Hey guys.. if Zinfer doesn't take it.. can I? :P

I did also... had to go checking for it.

Darin offered Zinfer a place to stay (guest house) for a month free and
clear, and a part-time job @ $10/hr.

Only catch is it's in Arizone so Zinfer would have to move.

I would kick in $50 as well. In addition, I can bring the car that was
offered up to Chicago if needed. Maybe bus Zinfer to Chicago and let
him drive to AZ with the car.

The only thing is Zinny was out shopping for #44 bulbs on the 11th or
12th of this month. I'm not trying to stir anything up, but unless you
wanted these bulbs for your flashlight; it makes me wonder what the
hell is going on.

Are you fixing a game in the shelter?

Are you filling us with BS?

If you seriously are in that bad of shape( out of a home) i'm truly
sorry for your bad misfortune.

If you are fibbing to us shame on you.

Im not sure if this is a scam or what. But if someone really needs help
believe me when i say i understand.I have helped people with drinking
problems ETC.This is a serious post.If someone can prove to me that this is
true that Zinfer is really in some sort of trouble of any kind and i can
help too. Please email me with the facts. Please be serious about this.I have
needed assistance at some point in my life and always try too help someone
in real need.I know you think i only mess around but only a few of you
really know me.I made a promise to God that i would be there for another
person because people were there for me when i had personal problems.I think
if you have been thru some very serious things in your life you would want
to help also.Im not talking about just being broke.Im talking about things
beyond someone's control. Please fill me in and maybe i can be of some
assistance. On a serious note!Details would be appreciated.I have helped many
people before and i don't have to name people or brag about it.But after
people were there for me i truly understand if someone has extreme problems
and need some type of help.Money is usually what is needed but good
experienced advice might be the answer.Im not sure about any details of
whats going on here but let me know what his situation is and i'll see if a
can help in some way.

Not to stir anything up here, but Zinfer bought a game from me back around
the 1st of this month. He drove about 500+ mile roundtrip to pick it up as
well. Don't know if he fell on hard times after this, but figured I would
let you know since he did probably spend $90-100 on gas as well as the price
of the game.

That's exactly why i would like to know the truth about this matter before i
jump on the bandwagon like some people do just to show how concerned they
are by tossing money at him.Hey it's very simple to just throw money at
someone. But does that solve their problems. If someone is a drug addict and
you give them money to buy more drugs.Does that help them?.If anyone has
ever watched the show called Intervention you will know how to help a person
with a drug problem.Im not saying that Zinfer has a drug problem but i would
certainly want to help if he did.Does anyone know the facts about his
problems??,.Please either post them or email me direct

Yea and im the bad one???.I admit im the first to joke around on here but if
someone really has some serious problems i would also be the first to lend a
helping hand. That is if they are facts and not just someone fooling
around. When i had some really serious problems in life. There were several
people who i can say when way out of there way to help me get my life in
order again so i"ve been there and wouldn't hesitate to help someone who
really needs it.I can't seem to find out ant truths here.Just some jokes
about him??.Maybe it's all bullshit but if it's not then someone should post
the facts.Maybe it's depression and thats no joke.I know of a person close
to me that took his own life because he had nobody to talk to at the right
time.No joke!.I know you might think im this or that but when it comes right
down to it i wouldn't want to see anyone suffer.

I really don't think anything's wrong, there was a post on the other
site that said he was homeless and posting at an Internet cafe, pretty
sure there was heavy sarcasm there. Darin jumped in stating that if
Zinfer wanted to improve his lot in life he was willing to offer him
the opportunity to restart in AZ and would help him get settled by
giving him a part time job and 30 days lodging until he could find
something better. There was an offer to buy him a bus ticket to AZ and
I offered use of my car if he needed it (which I don't believe to be
the case, but the offer stands)
I think that brings everything up to speed. Who needs a drink?

Everyone remember, sometimes problems, MAJOR problems we have in life are
not necessarily money related. Things that happen to family, our health,
our finances, our personal outlook on life, our goals and aspirations...
all can contribute to a dangerous state of mind and feeling of self worth.
It's not all tied to a dollar, and certainly not cured by a dollar.
Sometimes spending the one dollar you have on a stick of gum is just enough
satisfaction to make you feel better even if for a short time.

I'm not taking anyones side here there or anywhere, but really, if someone
is emotionally damaged, this kind of thing, however sincere it may or may
not be comes off as both embarrassing and condescending. If you mean to
genuinely help someone, then do it privately and sincerely. Eventually we
all stand up and reboot and get our lives back on track, sometimes the path
to that reboot is longer and harder than we ever imagined, but we get there.
Usually with the help of friends and family, which however small and
disjointed, rgvac can be.

Sometimes the wolf pack can get aggressive and assume things to the point of
being hurtful about things they do not understand. I don't claim to know
anything at all about whats going on in Rod's life (yes, he does have a real
name) but it is clear that for one reason or another he's having tough times
and based on posts here from many different angles. I imagine it would beat
me down physically and emotionally as well. It helps not to continuously
throw salt in a once open wound for no real reason for years on end. Even
if the wound was self inflicted.

Just give things a few moments of thought before you post that next flame.

Honestly, when was the last time you made all the right choices when you
were in trouble? Or for that matter, openly accepted the fact? All too easy
to analyze someone from a distance. If someone is in trouble and I sense
it, I'll attempt to find out the realities privately and do anything I can
that way. One thing is clear, Rod does react when prodded into a fight or
baited for a response.. perhaps that's the military years in him, but it
seems to be the root of 90% of this.. people knowing that fact and throwing
out the hook to see what happens.

Take even such a simple thing as smoking.. how many people out there live
day to day on food stamps, can't feed their kids, yet somehow find the money
to smoke a hundred bucks worth of cigarettes a month? Certainly not the
smart or right thing to do, seems simple enough to fix, but oddly enough,
they do it.

You're right, a silly newsgroup is not a place for therapy. But also,
unless we are trained psychologists and close personal friends of Rod we are
not qualified to judge his condition both mentally or financially. The best
thing we can do is put away the bait and the hooks and let the past be the
past.. Bob Roberts could do it, so can we.

Not a bad point - if Rod is really as messed up as he says, or even half, it
would seem that taunting him is like picking on cripples or truly mentally
challenged people.
I agree - lets give him a pass, at least till he posts that he is on his

Where exactly are the bait and hooks here?

This most recent case of Zinphilitus was brought on by himself. If you
missed him throwing the first stone you weren't paying attention.
Reread the first Warlords cocktail post for a recent update.

As far as the Bob Roberts situation goes it is irrelevant as the reason
he let it go is because Rod finally made the $15 bounced check good.

And who doesn't believe that Rod has read any of the offers to help him
out? He hasn't responded to the newsgroup with even an "I appreciate
the offers guys but I have to stay in Ohio because....." or how about
"Man, this is a great group coming to the aid of somebody you've never
met in person".

I would say his absence has more to do with his number has been called
and he hasn't fabricated a story yet to cover all this help up that he
can't accept, for good reason.
