There is someone on eBay who has vids up for sale that I am sure you all
have seen and laughed at. You know, the idiot with the bad Galaga photo?

I e-mailed him and I feel the responses were crap. There is nothing in his
auction that states about the photo or anything. I have a bad feeling about
this guy (roc...@southwind.net). I personlyy wouldn't trust a person like
that.

The website of this company is www.billiardsandgames.com. For a good laugh,
go there and check out all the vids these idiots are selling. I think their
prices are like $1000 out of line (at least!)

Ok. Nothing much but I feel that everyone out in the vid community should
be aware of these... <CENSORED>. Heh.

Hello everyone, I personally know the guy that's selling these machines. It
isn't fraud. He's an operator and owns some movie theaters in the Wichita,
KS area. He really is a nice guy. I think he has his secretary do the
posting and configuration of the auctions, that's why there is so little
about the description. I will agree that he seems to want a LOT for them
(opening bid). If any of you are interested in these games I will personally
inspect them and see if they are what they say they are. Or for that matter,
anything else that he sells! I do know that the Star Wars cockpit is in
excellent condition, cabinet wise. I used to play it in the movie theater he
had it in. This guy delivered me a Dragon's Lair 2 from Oklahoma City that I
would have never been able to purchase otherwise, so again, I do know he's
an honest person.

Thanks all, Mark Stroup

T'yeah, if he's honest, why did he NOT update the photo on eBay or update
his listing top state that the photo has been manipulated? He mentioned to
me in e-mail that he would but has not followed through. I will give him
the benefit that this is a holiday weekend, but that was back on Wednesday
when he mentioned that.

I can't trust someone who wants twice what a game is worth, and puts up
false photos on eBay.

I recently picked up a defender cab that had been repainted. I was able to clean
and get the front art work back and looking pretty good. But as for the sides
its not going so well. Has anyone ever made a stencil orf the cabint sideart, if
so where can I buy one? Anyone have one I can copy? If not I'll use my original
art and some vellum to make one just thought I'd check first. Also the unit had
been stripped of the 4 boards and the harness, they left the power supply and
the monitor, So I'm in need of theose parts as well. Any info greatly
apprecialted.

Thanks,

Here's a URL for a person who traced the once-painted-over Defender artwork on his
cabinet for later restoration. Dunno if he ever got around to making the stencil and
repainting the cabinet, though.

On a similar note, I'd be interested if anyone out there has a stencil for
Stargate's side art. I'm attempting to restore a cabinet to its former glory and may
or may not be able to strip off the overcoat of black paint such that I'd be able to
trace the thing myself...

Thanks,
Sean

We had a plastic film stencil made up for Stargate, but I haven't
decided quite what to do with it. I think I will rent it out...say
$50US per rental? You clean it up afterwards...

To Whom It May Concern,

I bought a Smash TV dedicated 25" from Ronnie at Billiards & Games
through a referral (before the web site), and am pleased as hell!!!
It's probably in 95% condition with the original operator's
package...and I feel I got a fair price at $795, especially after seeing
the other prices for crap machines I saw....Just my $.02, Jason
