Well, I finally got crazy enough to make up my system 2 side art
stencils aka tape. I have a Paperboy that had palin white sides and
it wasnt working fo rme. I had a photo of a system 2 cab with art
that I used as a basis for my tape stencils. I got letterign from
Staples for the "Atari Games" across the middle. I think its a little
bigger than it shold be and the font is off....but its all I could
find. I used auto refinishing fine line tape to make the white spaces
in between the colors. I bought 6 or so cans of Rustoleum spray paint
to maek the color fading. Once wverything was masked off I went to
town. I think the results were tolerable, but definately not for the
purist. Check it out!

Wow, Great job! That looks really good. Much better than plain white :)

I don't understand why these haven't been reproduced yet.....
I'd buy a new set for my Championship Sprint.

I think the gradient / color blending is where its costly. I thought
about having PROK make stencils....but you still have to paint. I
have about $50 in materials for what I did.

Wow that looks great. I just paid some good money for NOS blue Hunt
Wilde grips for my Paperboy and the sides are a next step for me.

Yeah, at $225 I'd have to come up with my own art. I'm sure the
gradient makes them much harder to screen.

Ya, those blue grips would be sweet...but a little pricey. I got the
NOS balck ones from Stephen Beall which look ok.

Darin,

How about trying to get together a preorder situation for the system
2 side art and see if it turns out enough orders to do a run ? I would
be in for a set for my paperboy and possibly my champ sprint.

thanks, Rich
