Can somebody tell me if $400 is too much to pay for a near mint DK3? I
plan on stripping it down anyways and restoring it to completely mint
condition. But the CPO, bezel, marquee are all flawless. The monitor
appears to have a new cap kit since its really bright. A DK3 just
doesn't come around too often from what I can see and I want it to add
to my Nintendo collection.

If it is really near mint, that's not a terrible price. Of course, $250 or
$300 would be even better :-) DK3 is a fun game imho.

Doesn't matter anymore. The guy isn't going to sell it to me now. He
bought the machine less than a month ago for his son for $399. His son
supposedly didn't like the game after a few plays and decided to try
and sell it. They wanted $460 for it a few weeks after they just bought
it for $399. I offered $400 and they won't take it. Who the hell tries
to make a profit for a game they just bought 2 weeks earlier?

Just my opinion, but that is not a good game. I had all three because I
wanted to say I had the complete set. I just did not like the game at
all. Same thing over and over. I decided to get rid of it. I don't
regret it at all. The seller will regret not selling it for 400. If you
really want one, I'm sure you will find one for that price. Bob

(btw, $400 is highest I'd go too.)

He must not have realized that you, Chris M. and his kid are the only
3 people in the world that want it!

I put that up there between Spy Hunter II and Dig Dug II on the all
time stinker sequels list. :)

I know its not one of the better sequels but for some reason I just
feel compelled to own all the Nintendo games. I was able to talk the
guy into selling it to me again. Now all I need is Donkey Kong and my
collection is complete!!!
