I bought 4 Rocks and two of them have monitor problems. One has no RED
and the other is out (smells burnt, like it needs a cap kit). I was
just wondering if anyone can help me with adjusting the colors and
such. I can't get the red to come in. I checked the components on the
neck board, but evidently this doesn't do it. I swapped it with
another known working unit and there is still no red. So maybe its
something. Else, any help would be appreciated. Thanks

The gun on yout ube is probly shot and you need a new tube.Neotec
monitors are famous for weak guns in the tube, bad flybacks, and a
couple other things.

So, is a rejuvenation out of the question on the one with no red? Got
any reasonably priced advice on how to replace it?

Thanks ken, but I already have this printed out on my desk. It might
be a little over my electrical knowledge. I just have no TV repair
experience. I will say though, that guy really has written some great
amusement type stuff. I started out heavy in to pinball and am really
thankful for his webpages.
