Gauntlet II problem

Hi guys,

I'm hoping someone can help me - I just got a Gauntlet II that is
nonworking. When I power it up, I just get horizontal lines on the
top and bottom of the screen that flash about every 3 seconds. I have
tested the monitor and power supply and they work fine. I've reseated
all of the chips on the PCB and it didn't help. All of the chips are
present. The only physical thing wrong on the PCB is that the crystal
(mp143 14.31818 MHZ) is loose on top (solder connections are fine). I
can move the crystal up and down. Could this be causing my problem
and if so where would I get a replacement?

Well, that's not it - I just replaced the crystal with the same MHZ
from an old PCB and it didn't make any difference... Any other ideas?
