Subject: Help with PO'ED Jetpack problem?!?!
Ok....I've posted on this before but I have gone back a couple of
levels and I am still stuck.

I was happily crusing through the game and I found a secret level
called Spiral.  One this level the game preceeded to tell me that
Jetpacks are not allowed and removed my Jetpack from my inventory.

When I finished the level I never got it back.  Now I am at the
level called the ALLEY and I NEED A JETPACK.  I had save file back on the
two previous levels (Ledges and Solari) but I could seem to find one.

Does anyone know a code to give me a jetpack or if there is a
jetpack on the levels mentioned?

        Thanks!

The platform at the top of the Spiral level (that contains the teleporter) also
has a jetpack floating just below the ledge.  Walk around the edge until you hear
the music...

In each level (Tombs included) there is a normal exit to the next
level...in 2 instances, there are levels that you can find that are the
secret levels...the thing that differentiates these is that you don't have
to go thru them to get to the next level)...in the last secret level case,
there is a level called Puzzle which you have to solve in order to
teleport to the secret level...otherwise, you teleport to the final
level...

Hope this helps!

Ouch!

When you got to the top of Spiral, there was a transporter. You happily
hopped into it without looking around didn't you! If you walk past the
transporter (go the left and jump is the easiest way) you find that on the
other side of that cube is a jetpack and a backpack. The backpack is
SERIOUSLY cool, and you will probably need it to finish the game. It gives
you twice as much ammo capacity, so you have 200 rounds for every weapon.

I hate to say this, but get back to Spiral and get the Jetpack and
Backpack. I know, spiral is a royal pain, but the reward is worth it.

On this, in what way is Spiral a secret? Other than it being called a
"secret level" I don't see anything that would make it a secret. There was
no other exit from Tombs that I could see.

Oh well, it was fun. I haven't played PO'ed in a while, as I'm moving and
I packed my 3DO so I'd actually pack the rest of the house rather than sit
around playing video games all day...

That sucks!  I hate when game are designed so that you can leave
a level (and not return to it) without getting items which you have to
have later!!!

One:  If you had saved your game on that level, you would be able to go
back...  (That's what saved games are for, I think.) ;)

Two:  You could use the level-select code and re-play any level you want.

I saved on the two previous levels to the ALLEY and I couldn't
find a jetpack on either of them.  I'm not going to save any farther
back than that.

Yeah....I could use a level skip but I really hate having to use
them (plus go and find all the weapons and such!)

        Oh well.....

Actually, the level skip cheat gives you weapons that you'd typically
have at that point in the game.  I'd use to to start at Spiral just to
see how different the inventory looks...

(Posted this on April 4th, but it somehow didn't make it out)

There is also a jetpack in in the level LEDGES, in case you don't have a
save game in SPIRAL.  In the first room in LEDGES, take a running jump
into the room with 2 ralphs running back and forth.  Above your head is
the jetpack.  Jump down into the small room and climb the large ladder up
to the cubby with the jetpack.
